A Chilling Tale of Icy Intrigue and Dark Purpose...

Phantoms took the skating ficiton world by storm when it was first published in 1999. it was hailed far and wide as having the best writing in skatefic. In 2000, Phantoms won two awards from Episodic Review for the best male lead in a serial and a Reader's Choice for a supporting character.

The anonymous author is rumored to be the same person who wrote On the Edge, but reading Phantoms dispelled that rather quickly. Rink Ghost was the pseudonym for Karen Frank, the well known RSSIF and SkateFans personality—and boy can this woman write!

Gina's exit from skating wasn't exactly triumphant, a bad fall in a major competition. Yet as an adult, after escaping from her skate-mom-from-hell, Gina is irresistably drawn back into the sport she loves...

Jonathan had achieved skating nirvana—until he created his own hell, an inferno that engulfed his sports car after the crash. Now he owns a rink, and he stays in the shadows.

Watching Gina...

Etienne has the natural charm of a champion, and the medals to match. He was Jonathan's shadow and best friend before the accident, but is there more to his interest in Gina than meets the eye?
